Last Sunday when I was in Boston, I received an e-mail regarding an event that happened to male fitness model Jed Hill. It’s a tragic story . I hope will encourage you to help this ambitious young man get back to his feet. Here’s what happened last November 10, 2010 in Jed Hill’s words.
On Nov 10th, I lost everything I owned (including my dog) in a house fire that was caused by an unknown heating problem. Before the fire, I moved to LA to pursue my modeling and acting career, not knowing anyone or having any family in LA, I was taking a leap of faith so that I can make my family proud. The night of the fire was one of the most devastating night of my life thus far, it was the first chilly night so I turned on the heat [before I] went into the shower. When I came out of the bathroom, my bedroom was up in flames. Not knowing how to react I quickly began to try and put the fire out but it was too late. The heavy dark smoke was blinding and it made it hard to breathe. I was in such shock I couldn’t react fast enough to grab my dog before he ran outside with no collar. The smoke finally got to me and I had to get out, watching everything I own and worked so hard for go up in flames in a matter of minutes. It is traumatizing. Having no home insurance, I am at a loss for everything.

I am a bit saddened to hear that Jed has had this terrible thing happen to him . I too lost everything i ever had when Hurricane Gustav blew through Louisiana back in 2008. I am a fan of Jed’s and want him to succeed in all he does so i am thinking of making a contribution if it isn’t too late. I would hate for this incident to be a stumbling block for someone who so obviously can go far with all that he has been blessed with. If you get a chance to read this keep your chin up , believe me when i tell you this will only prove to make you stronger when all is said and done . I’m sure you,ve probably heard this advice from many people but as someone who knows it is true , let me tell you it is undoubtedly so ! Good Luck young man !
