Only because it’s very short and I want to make sure I feature Simon George again does this post not qualify as an interview, but definitely, I’ll aim to get to know more of Simon – his goals and dreams as he aspires to become one of the UK’s next fitness stars! Huge thanks to officially one of my fave UK photogs, Simon Barnes of Hotsnapz Photography and of course, the hardworking, Chrystofa Aarons of CSA Models for introducing us to Simon. See below our short but sweet conversation with Simon George:

How old are you, where are you from and what do you currently do?

I am 19 years old and currently studying to become a fully qualified personal trainer, due to fitness being such a big part of my life I really want to be in a qualified position to help other people with their fitness journey.

How did you get into fitness modeling?

After working so hard in the gym, I wanted to inspire others to lead a healthy lifestyle, and I truly believe being a figure of fitness is the best way to do that, I have always wanted to get to a level where I was considered good enough to be a fitness model from a very early age, even before I started working out! I applied to a few places on the web, and came across Alba modelling, who put me in touch with several people, I was able to have my first photo shoot through this and since then things have been going great!

Who inspires you to become fit and healthy?

In all honesty no one person inspired me, the desire to be fit and healthy came from within me as its always been the way I have wanted to live my life, although I do look up to many people in the industry, I a huge admirer of people like Greg Plitt and Rob Riches for what they have achieved.

Where do you see your fitness modeling career going? Where do you want it to be a year from now?

I want my fitness modeling career to take me all over the world, and inspire people to lead a healthy life, it’s fantastic to be in good shape and I truly believe everyone has the potential to get themselves fit, they just need the motivation, and hopefully I can be the one to motivate them. In a year from now, I want to be recognized as a great fitness model, when it comes to something I am so passionate about, I want to be considered the best, and hopefully in a year from now I’ll be well on my way to achieving that.
