There’s no stopping the lead writer of MFM Advisor, Shaka Smith! The national level NPC competitor and Ironman Naturally champ was declared Amateur of the Week the past week by Bodybuilding.com. And since Shaka is part of the team that runs MFM, here’s his take on his recent recognition and what is to come in the soon-to-be released MFM Advisor:

Its an absolute honor to be chosen as Bodybuilding.com’s Amateur Bodybuilder of the Week. It was only the end of November 2010 that I discovered the site and decided I wanted to get in the best shape of my life and one day compete. I never thought when I first stepped on stage in April 2011, that a year later, I would garner the honor of Amateur of the Week from the website that in many ways began it all for me. It has just been an amazing experience and extremely motivating. I’m going to be using this motivation to continue to share with others and MFM Advisor readers, health, fitness and the knowledge that they too can achieve their goals through hard work and dedication. Ultimately no matter what stage were at, its a journey were all taking together and I am motivated now, more than ever to reaching more milestones and helping others do the same!
