I’m entering my second year of blogging about models and for the hundreds I have featured (more than 200 of them), I have felt a level of admiration and respect for their work. It’s true, they’re hot, gorgeous, handsome, all those positive adjectives we can lay on a man, but one thing is certain, actually obvious and must always be remembered – they are humans too. They have emotions, weakness, and sadly, like all of us, an end in our lease in life.

It was with great shock that I took the news of the passing of Joe Delio, a man whom I would never know, but will always see as a male fitness model with tremendous potential. He is a trainer and according to the few people I know who knew him, a delightful person to work with. This man may have left the earth at an earlier season in life, but seems to have made an impact more than enough to make those close to him happy with the memories he has left.

Rest in peace, Joe.
