Stephen Danilla is a young male fitness model out of Philly slowly making his way to compete for his very first competition next year. As a 19-year old up and coming men’s physique competitor, Stephen shares with us how he got started modeling and his goals for the future below:
I’ve now been modeling for four months. My first shoot was with Dan Lerro in August 2012. Ever since then he has been mentoring my direction for a future in modeling. James Franklin, a photographer from California, was in Philly for a week and we decided to have photo shoot here in the Philly area, the result of which you can see here. We did that shoot in September 2012. What inspires me to be fit and do modeling is the challenge , being able to diet and not come off it for months at a time and the dedication you have to put in to get where you want as a male fitness model.
My immediate goals now is to compete for the first time on stage next year. I have been working really hard to get where I need to be, to finally go on stage and I would love to win a competition, but for now, I just want to enjoy the journey and have fun with it . I also hope to get commercial work in the future to expand my modeling career.
