FIRST OF ALL, HOW DOES IT FEEL TO HAVE A NEW WEBSITE? 

I have been wanting to redo my website for a while now but I had been too busy to get to it. After all the festivities, Impressiondesign and myself sat down and started brainstorming on what we wanted the new site to look like and we started working on it. It feels great knowing that the new site is up and running and the feedback that I have received has all been positive.

WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO ACCOMPLISH IN THE NEWLY REVISED WEBSITE OF TYRONE NELL? 

The new website is clean, crisp and fresh looking. We also rebranded my blog and newsletter to ensure that there is consistency between all the sites. The new site and blog reads easier and I hope that more people will be visiting both the site and blog where I share my stories and a bit more of who I am.

WHAT MOTIVATED YOU TO REDESIGN AND REVISE THE SITE? 

The ‘old’ look was quite dark and obviously old, we wanted something new and fresh and something that suits my personality. I also had a shoot lined up with photographer, Karl Van Heerden and we thought what an awesome way to showcase the new pictures. Once you land on the home page of the site we wanted people to already know what it is that I do without having to first read the bio. I had also spent time looking at other sites and I wanted something different to the norm.

AS A FITNESS, FASHION AND COMMERCIAL MODEL, HOW HAS THE WEB HELP YOU BECOME A BETTER MODEL/PERSONALITY? 

As most people know I am busy completing my BA degree in marketing and the power of marketing yourself online and on social platforms must never be underestimated. I have built up a following using my Facebook fan page and blog and now also have a loyal following to my blog posts, something that would have been very difficult without having a website, blog and a Facebook fan page. It has taken time but it is definitely paying off now. I am approached by photographers who probably would not have known me before, I have worked with designers who have made contact with me after seeing my work online and I have also booked countless jobs thru my online resources.

WHO IS TYRONE NELL OFFLINE? 

I am an extremely relaxed guy and people generally warm up to me once they get to know me. I enjoy the simple things in life as well as the not so simple things. Most of the time when I am not working I am most likely chilling at home with a movie or with friends or you can find me in the gym which is actually where I do most of my thinking. As I am quite sociable I enjoy the odd night out on the town with a good crowd. However, rite now my main focus is my studies and once my classes get started for the year I will be splitting my time between classes, gym, friends and work.

WOULD YOU FRIEND YOURSELF ON FACEBOOK AND WHY? 

I share a lot of personal stories and experiences on my blog and I am sure a lot of people can relate to some of the stories I share, I would friend myself because I can relate.

YOU SHARE A LOT OF INSPIRING THOUGHTS AND PHOTOS ON YOUR FACEBOOK PAGE AND HAVE A STRONG FOLLOWING. AMONGST ALL THE THINGS YOU HAVE SHARED OR POSTED, WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR MOST FAVORITE? 

One of my most favorite posts has been the one titled ‘Life is too short to hold grudges and not forgive’, it is a personal thought that I shared.

IF YOU CAN SAY THE SAME MESSAGE OVER AND OVER TO EVERYONE OF YOUR FANS, WHAT WOULD IT BE? 

Believe in yourself because anything is possible! I know it sounds cliche but it is so true, I am speaking from first hand experience. Something else I would say, as Ellen would say is love one another, don’t hate! As it is the world is full of hate and we most certainly don’t need more of that.

Haha! MFM has always been very supportive of what I do and with Michael at the wheel I most definitely can feel the love and I most definitely love MFM and Michael!
